I had a nice chat with this guy, went back the next day and started studying with him.  He's Haitian and works in a nearby resort.  He's only 24 but has already lost both his parents and his sister.  I know his English isn't all that great, but his sentiments make up for it...

How have you been?  This is Raphael from Dominican Republic ! thank you to met me soon and I'm so sorry cause I  didn't have any-time  to email you, so, sometime in my break-time I take a look at the little book that you gave to me it's verry important I like it, I enjoy in reading it and remember you too.  

So the person that you told me I don't know if he have passen when I'm away from home but I don't see him yet.

  

So, I apreciated you, because you taught me what bible's and I regreted didn't use to study before.

Now I find out the bible is the best thing ever.

So my work is verry hard now, because they stoped a lots of people cause the season got down, so you know I have to work verry hard cause  I don't want they stop me to.
